Dr. Steve Prevost was born and raised in Colorado. After obtaining a B.S. in biology and a minor in chemistry from Metropolitan State College of Denver in 2002, Prevost left home for veterinary school at Mississippi State University, where he graduated in 2007 from the College of Veterinary Medicine. His first year as a practicing veterinarian was through an internship in an emergency and referral hospital, working with a variety of specialists. Since completion of the internship, he has been primarily working in emergency medicine and general practice relief work. He is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association and the Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care Society.
